We’ve provided here a few easy steps to transfer your domain to ProfitServer. The days when you had to go to the provider’s office or fill an application to transfer your domain are gone. Nowadays, you can do all you need remotely online in your personal accounts.
Well, here’s what you need to do to transfer your domain from other provider to ProfitServer:
First thing, you need to find out, which provider your domain currently belongs to. You can always do that with WHOIS service (see “registrar” field). You can transfer second-level domains only!
How to transfer domains .RU or .РФ
- Get your AuthInfo code from your current registrar and find the administrator’s email and phone number. The cost of transfer equals the cost of annual maintenance. Please note that the domain is not prolonged automatically when transferred.
- The domain you’re trying to transfer must be verified.
- Fill the application in your personal account:
Click “Transfer” in the “Domains” section:
Input the domain name you want to transfer:
Check if everything’s correct and click “Transfer”
After it you need just enter your AuthInfo code, phone number, and administrator’s email.
- You will receive a confirmation email to the entered administrator’s email address. Follow the link in the email to confirm the transfer.
- After a little while you should see the status of the selected domain change into “Active” in the “Domains” section.
- The cost of annual maintenance will be written off from your account for the transfer.
How to transfer COM, NET, ORG, BIZ, INFO, PRO, EU domains
- Get your AuthInfo code from your current provider
- Create an application for transfer in the ProfitServer account (see the screenshots above)
- After that you should receive a confirmation email to the administrator’s email address entered; open the email and follow the link.
- The cost of the domain’s annual maintenance will be written off from your account.
